Personality
It’s relatively easy to say that Lyssa has very VERY loose morals concerning the value of property. She is a great advocate for the idea that ‘sharing the wealth’ is an honourable and noble part of society. Anyone who meets her will most likely comment that she is lowly, dishonest, and possesses less of a concept of honour than a baked lizard. Amongst thieves, she is an extreme example of what they stand for, she lives by the ethos of ‘take everything, give nothing back’.
She is generally a fun-loving person, having gone into thievery because it was the most entertainment she could have, as well as it naturally suiting her build. She has a playful streak, if you can call it a streak. She enjoys pretty much anything that doesn’t involve considerable amounts of pain, an adept Blitzball player as well as a capable Thief, simply because it’s fun. She enjoys frolicking; generally liking the company of others, mainly because you can always get more enjoyment when there’s two of you.
Being fairly young however, her morality is not yet tempered by the harsh realities of simple living. To her, life is one incredibly complex, and eventful game. She is carefree, and often a little fey in her manner. She is flighty if nothing else, but simply because she doesn’t like to seem predictable. She however is as susceptible as the next girl to charm, good looks, and a combination thereof, which often means her flightiness is more a statement of her adoration.
Appearance
Lyssa is best described as lithe, athletically built, generally, she possesses the looks of someone who trains regularly. She is proud of this physique, and strives to maintain it, being something that has saved her many a penny on a rainy night. However, a lot of this is also due to her less than lithe fullness of the chest. This much she knows, although tends to ignore, it’s more of a tool than something she is particularly proud of.
Her flesh is light of colour, having spent much of her time flitting between training indoors, owing to the nature of her skills and practises, thievery being best practised at night, the veil of darkness making her more difficult to detect. Her naturally blonde hair is often dyed, usually a reddish brown, again, to avoid predictability, but her distinctive spiralled, vibrant green eyes are marks of her heritage that she simply cannot cover up.
She typically wears tight fitting clothing, usually something resembling a Gi, preferring white with red-trim, an unusual combination with supposedly a paragon of stealth, although the fabric is cut short at the leg, typically bound by a sash around her waist. She claims that this is for mobility, but is suspected that there is an ulterior motive behind what some class as ‘under-dressing’.
Weapons
Lyssa prides in her incredible athletic abilities, combined with extensive training in numerous martial art forms. She typically fights unarmed, using a wide variety of combinations, due to her body being so well honed for such conflict. However, she also possesses a finely crafted Wakizashi, a single bladed shortsword, hers shorter than most, designed for speed rather than striking power.
Armour
She wears no armour at all, as it only impedes her movement. She wears only her clothing.
Items
She generally keeps little on her person. Why bother when you can steal someone elses?

Class Abilities
First Strike: A passive ability that lets the user act first. AP Cost: 50 AP
Steal: Attempt to take an item from an enemy. (Usable on NPCs only) AP Cost: 35 AP
Sticky Fingers: Guaranteed steal from an enemy. (Usable on NPCs only) (Requires Steal) [Cooldown: 1 post] AP Cost: 50 AP
Custom Abilities
Acrobatic Mastery: Even for a thief, Lyssa is unusually adept at manoeuvring herself whilst airborne. She is able to leap considerably higher than normal for most, landing with catlike grace after some astounding feat of acrobatic flamboyance. Lyssa is able to perform acrobatics even in the heat of combat, and may also incorporate it into her fighting.
Martial Prowess: As a martial combatant, she is almost second to none. Her sense of timing, balance, her speed and power are all perfectly matched to her physique, making her a lethal combatant, able to use almost any situation to a tactical advantage. Furthermore, her combat style is unpredictable, varied and incredibly fast, combining her natural evasiveness and agility with incredibly rapid sequences of strikes coming from absurd angles.
Vanishing Point (Shoushitsuten): One of her more unique moves, she grapples her opponent, before dropping down, kicking them upwards, before vanishing in a spiral of petals, grappling them in mid air, spiralling them down into the ground with incredible force, petals swirling from her re-entry, before rolling off of them once more. This attack deals massive damage, but cannot be achieved in low ceiling areas, such as in a house for example, as she is unable to gain sufficient height to make use of her teleportation. [6 post cooldown]
Transition (Terepo-to): Vanishing in her trademark puff of petals, she re-appears in a different area entirely, rematerialising with another flurry of petals, as well as an audible sigh on the wind. This may be used to gain an advantage in combat, as unlike Warp, this is only restricted to being outside 3 feet of a foe, and must be where she can see. This ability is separate to the Vanishing Point teleportation. [1 post cooldown]
Flurry of Blows: Raining a rapid series of blows, her attacks seem to merge into a single continuous action that hammers the foe ceaselessly. This ability doubles Lyssa’s attack speed for 1 post. [2 post cooldown]

History
Born to parents unknown, Lyssa has been wandering between various surrogate families for many years, ever ready to accept tutelage from almost anyone who will embrace similar ideals and practises to hers. Namely, a lack of ideals, and thievery. She has always been an adept pickpocket, even from her earliest days, even a minor tussle with her over the claim of a stolen item, could end up in your lunch, money, and possibly even your watch being missing afterwards. She has rarely kept a tutor for long, quickly exceeding them in skill and losing patience with them fairly rapidly.
Her skills in fighting came from her witnessing a mugging conducted by one of her mentors, as an example of how steal from those who are alert to your presence. She was abhorrent of actually cutting someone open, classing this as somewhat ‘boring’, as she saw that given a weapon, anyone could inflict considerable amounts of damage. She then began her regime of bouncing between martial arts tutors, again, quickly mastering their form of combat, before moving onto the next one. She has only kept in touch with one of these tutors, the one who taught her how to Transition, the name of which, has remained anonymous, even to his students.
She has gained a name for herself as somewhat unorthodox in her approach to thievery, being one entirely attached to excessive flamboyance, always finding new and more impressive ways to make her escape, stemming from her attachment to some of the legerdemain experts amongst the circus acts, those who’s sleight of hand kept them in pocket, as an occupation and as a trade. Whilst amongst such a group, she found that the more flamboyant the action, the more applause and commendation it received, and therefore, applies the same logic to her thievery. Although it is entirely possible she simply likes showing off.
However, she has never had much patience for Machina, somewhat uniquely amongst her race. While she finds it fascinating, she can never quite find the time to spend learning the intricacies of how it works, nor can she find a tutor willing to lecture someone who has the instinctive urge to steal anything that isn’t nailed down, or in the case of her latest victim, was nailed down, successfully managing to lift a reasonable section of support for his latest project without anyone so much as noticing. Upon the collapse of the project, it was discovered that the missing section was underneath his workbench, and that Lyssa had run off, leaving an apologetic, yet not entirely sincere note.
