[Velvet and Kerr]

A gaze lost in the clouds, her eyes an almost peal of sheer blue. The slight stirrings of an ice blue appeared, as a smile appeared on those beautiful lips. Hair of a blue waving color floated, an almost deadly aura surrounding her. The light armor and the flexibility she was provided was a gift from her summoner, who was now dead for about four years. Her wrist clenched the bracelet with the symbols of the moon and a whitened golden design glittered. This was where they lost them. They were going to do it, when they got curious.. and came to see the ruins. A foolish mistake now, a good idea back then. The fiends still crawled and her eyes gazed over them all, as if evaluating them. With a sigh, she flipped her mass of hair back and shifted her gaze to look at her companion, her smaller cape floating in the slight wind. ''What are our chances, Kerr?'' her voice asked, delicate, feminine, but holding a dangerous edge to it. She was angry.

He inclined his head, and looked at the battle field. His short blue hair shifting slightly and that teal shade of blue glowed, as he thought on what was going on down there. And he gave a sigh, having concieved a strategy. ''Probably, we will be surrounded. We might have to fight in.. retreat. Unless Yevon blesses us with a miracle.'' he said, his eyes still looking around. He heard her snort, and knew her thoughts, but they were partners. Guardians, never discharged from their duties, and always wandering for something to do. They were bound by that person for all eternity, and to be grateful, he could not be sure. But he loved the girl beside him, that much was true. He readied his lance, shifting his footing with the practised motion of a military trained man. His large cape swelled, and the deep gold, sun designed brace on his right, completely opposite of hers. It was time.

''Ready?''

''Ready!''

Both figures jumped off the cliff with a large yell, smashing right into the first fiends. Her sword was swinging, a deadly dance of swirling death, beautiful, elegant and yet almost frightening. The edge of her blade, if amongst humans, would simply draw a small fillet of blood, floating in the air after she passed. Then, the victim would realise that their jugular had been cut. Her dance was swift, deadly and always all so graceful. He, however, had a little more difficulty. Taking on the stronger monsters, a strange smile on his face, he would parry, and counter, until the edge of his lance was well stuck in his opponent. Then the flurry of moving it out and stabbing it behind him, and shifting with a more powerful sort of strike made him her opposite and match. A chaotic duo, a pair of destruction, extracting revenge on the fiends.

But they were surrounded and trapped.

[Nhadala]

"Rammu tu oui haat yho ramb?" Nhadala asked. She looked at the person, and she didn't smile."So hysa ec Hrytymy, yht E sekrd pa eh cusa canjela." Nhadala said. Nhadala looked at them. She just offered her services to them in the language of the Al Bhed she is in Virtue so she doesn't mind if they would talk to her like she isn't there, but at least she wanted to over her services of helping them out. "Vena." Nhadala said. Nhadala might be an Al Bhed, but she knows when she could offer her services to them.

[Velvet and Kerr]

Surrounded by fiends, the two lifted their heads, and saw the Al-Bhed. A foolish one at that, as the monsters leaped, sensing an easier target. The two looked at each other, and flew into action, their bodies moving. The girl's sword flew in a dance of death, as her body moved like an acrobats on the field, a sort of dangerous hum to her lips. ''This is only the begining!'' She said, flipping over as the fire spell flew by the girl and her body landed on a monster behind the Al-Bhed. Neither she nor Kerr understood the language, but she looked at this girl and gave a quick smile. ''Come on you beasts! Face us properly!'' she cried out, as she swirled her blade flashing. ''Flame Tongue!'' the blade seemed to cover itself with fire, as she lashed out, slicing a monter's throat and in great tendem too, before that the creature could strike against them.

The male swerved in with the lance, defending the Al-bhed from the front, as his face was still serious. Even with the help of this mage, it would be difficult to keep the swarm of monsters off, as his eyes scanned the area. ''Velvet, let's go.'' he said, suddenly, his hands coming in formation, before pushing his right one foreward. ''Begone. Aero!'' a large gust of wind suddenly blew the monsters, as he wrapped an arm around the mage's waist and lifted her. ''Yevon forgive me.'' he said, as he ran with her in his arms, the other blue haired girl flipping and running with him. Jumping up a cliff, they stopped for a moment, as the monsters started to migrate. ''Alright, we don't speak Al-Bhed, but your help is appreciated. Although, we'll have to stand our ground. We'll need any support you can give us. I am Kerr and she is Velvet. Pleased to meed you..?'' the male said, unsure if the Al-Bhed could understand or not.

[Nhadala]

"I am Nhadala, and yes I can understand you I can speak both basic and Al Bhed." Nhadala said. Nhadala looked at them, and she sighed she just wondered how they would be surrounded by fiends. "So Kerr and Velvet you guys want to sit and chat with me?" Nhadala asked. Nhadala looked around, and she remembered this place. She just didn't want anything to go wrong so she just stood there. "I will travel with the both of you." Nhadala said.

[Velvet and Kerr]

Velvet sneered. Obviously this mage had no clue just what was going on, as her blue tinted eyes starred at the area. She shifted impatiently, giving a look towards Kerr. She was in a battle mode, so no idiocy would stop her know. The girl stretched her muscles and smilied at Kerr, as she'd let him deal with the girl. The male in question looked at Nhadala, and sighed softly. ''We do not have the time to chit chat or travel. In case it escaped your notice, the fiends are crawling up the cliff. All I want you to do is blast them off with magic when they try to get to you. Do you understand me?'' he said, as Velvet started to hum now, her eyes a greater shade of blue as she felt that mountain anxiety of battle. A monster leaped from the cliff to attack them, but with a quick movement, it was disposed, as it fell towards the ground, as she looked at them. They would all die. Kerr didn't even look, as he was trying to make this female understand what their plan was. It might be harder then he thought, has she hadn't even reacted to his grabbing of her, or the large amount of bloodthirsty fiends that were surrounding them. This was potentially a difficult situation indeed.

[Siegfried Schtauffen]

As the Al-Bhed throw him across the water with their gigantic machina, Seigfried sees a swarm of creatures surrounding a small group of people. He stabs his blade into an oncoming tree to stop himself. "They seem to be outnumbered, but I can tell that the two oddly dressed ones are fairly capable of taking on these savages, but I shall assist them anyway, they may need my hel-" A fiend jumps onto his back before he can finish & the creature bites his neck, sending shards of his armor flying. His eyes turn burnt-orange his right arm swells up & rips through his skin, revealing a three-fingered claw. He tilts back his head as his armor forms around it, screaming all the while. The fiend releases its grasp & attempts to flee, but it is too late, Knightmare has been awakened, nothing can stop his rampage, Seigfried's Insanity has been unleashed. Knightmare rips apart Soul Embrace & holds Soul Edge in his right hand as he jumps into the fray, hacking & slashing the fiends as they slowly pile on top of him. His blades flying through the air, every enemy destroyed has a small amount of power absorbed into Soul Edge, slowly building up its power, until it can take in no more. "SOUL RELEASE!!!" Knightmare jumps into the air & stabs the Soul Swords into the ground, causing a tremendous shock wave knocking back everything around him. "Bring it on you damned beasts!" He charges at the fallen swarm & narrowly misses hitting the Al-Bhed girl as he passes through. "I'm not even going to bother with the weakling."
He slashes the oncoming horde as they latch onto him, slowly burying him alive. "YOU SHALL NOT DEFEAT ME! DIE YOU BASTARDS!!!!" He swings his blades into a nearby pillar as they fall right into his trap, the pillar falls, crushing a small group of fiends. "I shan't be defeated by the likes of you assholes. I have bigger fish to fry. 97...98...99...100! You critters are too damn easy to kill!" He laughs evilly after saying this & his eyes turn a great crimson. He goes after the great sea of fiends, swords flashing in the moonlight. He stops to see what has become of the others here, but is unable to see outside, the entrance of the large building without a ceiling obstructing his view. The enemies that are getting away start to mass into a gigantic creature that stands above where the roof of this room would be. "Holy sh-" The creature slams its mighty hand on the ground, Knightmare barely avoids it, & slashes at the monster's arm, severing it, & causing it to transform into a swarm of fiends, which latch onto him as the beast knocks him through a row of pillars with its other arm. He hits the wall at the far end of the ruin, & cannot move. "DAMN YOU TO HELL!!! ARRRRRGH!!!" His screams only make the monster become more aggressive, slamming him to the ground & hammering on him, denting his armor. Knightmare lifts his blades & the monster brings its hand upon them, it howls back in pain, giving Knightmare a chance to flee, but he slowly lifts himself to his feet & stands his ground. "You want me monster? COME & GET ME!" He charges at the beast as it swings its reattached arm at him, barely missing his head. He jumps onto the beasts head & slashes it in half, only to have it regenerate."DAMMIT!!" He tries to think of a way to defeat the creature, when he suddenly remembers: there are magi outside, they might be able to help. He decides that he cannot defeat this monster on his own, because every time he destroys a fiend, another replaces it."You're too slow to hit me. Even an army of you couldn't defeat me!" He leads it out into the open & yells to the magi: "Blast this bastard, or it'll kill us all!!!"
