Bartimaeus is the radical marksman, shoot first ask questions later. He's quick to jump and fire his rifles, the only thing that receives his trust is his firearms. Comical the assassin is, cracking a few jokes here and there. However, he sticks to the job and doesn't let a thing distract him from it. There is no time to be reckless, but there is enough to execute the mission.
Appearance[/size][/b]
Beneath his outfit, the man stands 6'3, weighting 220 lbs (Muscle mass). Light skin with short blond hair that's spiked upward. Gray eyes filled with a passive attitude and a hidden rage deep within the core. Scars protrude his left arms, trailing from his shoulders to his wrists; cut marks. He wears a white shirt with no sleeves and black shorts.
Weapons[/size][/b]
Steam SMGs: These are a newer model, gray armor plated guns with a few gaps. These gaps are there to release the steam from the firearms and cool down. Clips are on the bottom, holding about 45 bullets in each magazine. .10 Millimeter bullets, all of them have the smoke emblem upon them.
Daggers: Simple daggers, each have the same emblem as all the other articles do; except they are on the blades. They are five inches long, the material is steel and they are as sharp as any other blade can be.
Armour[/size][/b]
Bartimaeus wears a large black velvet outfit that covers his entire body. Light and easily carried along his daily activities. A strap wraps around his chest and back, this is where his rifles are carried. On his chest appears to be two sheathes, each carrying a dagger. Huge black boots with steel-toes, an emblem of smoke on the sole of the material.
And last but not least, he wears a black gas mask over his head. Red lenses that cover his eyes, a helmet covers his head also; the same symbol of smoke covers his forehead.
Items[/size][/b]
[Magic]Impulse Grenade: A grenade within his left pouch hanging from his hip. Within it, a blue grenade the shape of a ball and the weight of a rock resides. A pin with the smoke emblem sticks there, this grenade is very dangerous to magic users. Once it explodes, it silences them...If not used on a magic user it still has a strong explosion to push back enemies.

[Magic]Berserker Rounds: Large magazines reside within the pouch as well. Once put into the SMGs, they fire .50 millimeter rounds that can penetrate through mostly any armor. A strong recoil is in affect once this goes on, causing Bartimaeus to kneel down and fire.

Class Abilities[/size][/b]
Scattershot: Deals damage to all targets with a special shell filled with metal balls that spread over an area instead of striking at a finite target. (Requires Burst Shot) [Cooldown: 2 posts]
Scatterburst: Deals great damage to all targets, using an exploding variation of the Scattershot shells. Needless to say, this is a potentially dangerous move that can wind up hurting the user or the user’s allies if it is not used carefully. (Requires Scattershot) [Cooldown: 3 posts]
Darkproof: A passive ability that makes the user immune against Darkness.

Custom Abilities[/size][/b]
Steambane: At Bartiameus' whim, he can disperse and turn into a cloud of steam. Floating about to other areas and avoiding blunt attacks with ease. This involves physical forces. However, he can only use it so many times while under pressure.
((During battle it has a 4 post cool down. During roaming RPs, he can use it as many times as he pleases. This makes him highly resistant to magic attacks, but they still affect him; but he is immune to physical attacks.))
Another ability that makes him feared is to manipulate steam. Firing huge bursts to eliminate foes and push him out of the way from certain objects. It erupts from his palms, firing at the force of a jet. Of course, there is a recoil after firing a huge burst and it causes precious time to get situated once again.

Hunter Fever: Bartimaeus has mastered his surroundings and can sense nearly any kind of incoming missile. His ears are enhanced, picking up nearly any sound. He can smell odors that may become a key point to avoiding an attack. His eyes can see as far as a hawk. The perfect combination for a hunter.

History[/size][/b]
The heritage of the Al Bhed, exciting yet boring at the same time. All most of them do is scavenge for scraps and create new machines. Bartimaues went in another direction of course, turning his back upon it. He went onto the life of a merc, gun for hire he liked to call it. Earning more gil than most of all of his family members, but they didn't care for his wealth.
Bartimaeus was the type to not care too much for money, but a good fight was enough pay for him. His abilities such as the manipulation of steam was what caught his employer's eyes. Of course, after so many assassinations he got bored with just being a chump fighting for small people. Not long after, a Maestar of Yevon approached him. They offered him a contract to work for them, he gets paid monthly...But only to work for them.
He approved of this, and now works secretly for Yevon. They don't want to get their hands dirty all the time, so they send him to do some key missions. His current objective? Eliminate the Rebels and their leaders.
