In this world you tried, Not leaving me alone behind. It was a calm day at Kilika, the sky was clear accept for a few clouds. The sun was high in the sky and made the ocean shimmer like glass as it's rays reflected off of the sea's surface. A lone boat traveled towards the planks of woods on the beach, it became more visible in the distance as it grew closer to the beach, to the island. It docked and a few passengers got off and walked along the wooden planks towards their destination. One passenger stopped near the boat and just stared at the small town. The soft wind caressed her hair as she stood there, like she was unable to move. Her gaze was locked straight ahead. Why had she just stopped?
Slowly she stepped forward, plank by plank. Her head was now cast downwards, staring at her booted feet. She moved her hand to her chest, placing it on her heart. She could feel it beating beneath her skin, it was frightened. But, that made no since because Sin was gone. She need not be afraid of him anymore, but the memories still haunted her. They flashed through her mind at this moment, reminding her. She quickened her pace and then started to run along the harbor, onto the beach. Into the forest. As she got there she stopped, breathing heavily.
She looked back, her heart was thumping. Her mind racing. She had come here to visit her parent's graves, yet how was she suppose to when she couldn't even control herself. She just stood there, unable to move. Trying to calm herself. The ocean usually calmed her, made her happy. Yet this place, held bad memories for her. She walked along the edge of the forest, along the beach. Maybe the sound of crashing waves might calm her. Made me promise I'd try, To find my way back in this life. Hope there is a way, To give me a sign you're okay.

Rwaht was walking along the Kilika beach, taking in the sites. He’d been traveling across Spira, seeing all that he could see, learning as much about the place, and for all the information he’d collected, all the geographical knowledge he’d amassed, there was one thing that he knew above all else… Spira was beautiful. The sky shone brilliantly, marked by the sun’s bright glow and a few puffy, friendly clouds. The light of the sun gently washed across the island, making everything seem brighter, making it all appear to be more lifelike, somehow a little more real. Even though he had the foreboding sense that something terrible was soon to happen—the reason he was in Spira in the first place—he couldn’t help but just enjoy the environment here, especially down south where everything was so sunny and beautiful. Just for a little while.
He walked along the beach, moving casually, not really worrying about staying hidden anymore. He’d met a few people in Spira recently without any major incident, and frankly, he didn’t mind. His gaze drifted to the forest from time to time, noticing the occasional little animal scurrying about the forest. He’d actually killed some fiends earlier, relying only on the Dragoon spells that he knew… no reason to give anything away this early in, after all~
Soon, however, he came across someone else, walking in the opposite direction along the beach as he was. He had a hard time resisting the urge to smile wryly; typically of Spirans, the woman was drop-dead gorgeous. He was starting to wonder if they all were. She seemed a little… nervous, though, a little tense. Maybe he ought to leave her be?
Well, that might seem a little rude, considering they were bound to nearly collide with one another in a few moments. Oh, well, nothing to do but say hi.
“Hello there,” Rwaht said with a wave, trying to sound pleasant and… well, normal.

There's a hole in your soul like an animal With no conscience, repentance, oh no Close your eyes, pay the price for your paradise The young woman walked along the edge of the beach where the sand met the water as it slowly cascaded it's way along the beach. A small wave rose onto the sand where she was walking and flowed past her feet. She didn't care that her boots got wet. The calmness of the waves calmed her, while its coldness distracted her. Her blue eyes were focused ahead of, in front of her a few feet watching the waves rise and fall on the beach. But, it seemed her mind might be else where..
Her parents' faces flashed before her eyes, her mother's brilliant smile. Her silver eyes. She remembered playing on this beach as a child, happy memories. She remembered her mother telling her to be careful as she played in the water. She cast her face downwards, hiding as a silent tear slipped down her cheek and fell to the water below. She didn't move to wipe it away, just continued forward the water still rushing past her and then back into the ocean.
Mother... she thought to herself. Her mother was the one who she missed most. She was always so happy. So willing to help others. That was one reason why she had become a Healer, a White Mage as well. She wanted to follow in her footsteps and to help others. I..miss..yo-.. Her thought was cut off as she heard-
Hello there
She turned quickly to look who had spoken. It was a man, of course it was. It was a man's voice after all. She quickly moved her hand to her cheek to wipe away what remained of the few tears she had shed. She was a bit startled but had recovered a little bit, "Oh," she said, "Hello." With a prayer in the air I will leave it there On a note full of hope not despair
