Please make the subject of your thread "Your character's name, Your character's title".

Human, Al Bhed, Guado, Ronso, Hypello, and Hybrid. If your character is a hybrid, please specify what races, and keep in mind that only Human, Al Bhed, and Guado can successfully have hybrid children. Also, if your character is a hybrid, be sure to combine some of the Race's physical traits as required and keep in mind that they will probably have suffered quite a bit of prejudice (beyond the normal rejection of races like Al Bhed, Guado, et cetera) in their youth because of their status as a mixed-race since only in the last 3 years have they become acceptable.

If you want to have a character older than 75, please contact one of the admins first.

Yevon/Non Serviam/Virtue

Yevon and Non Serviam are the two opposing organizations, which you can read about in the Factions Topic. Virtue, however, is the third organization, which is really less concrete and those who are not concerned with either Yevon or Non Serviam are usually counted with Virtue.

Alignment[/size][/b]
Good? Evil? Neutral? Chaotic something or other? Whichever you like, put your character’s general alignment here. Keep in mind there can be good members of Yevon, and such.

Class[/size][/b]
Here you’ve got some options. One, you can choose one class from the starter classes, which means that you’ll be able to learn all the abilities in that class. Then you’ll get 100 AP to spend on abilities to start off with, and you can go ahead and master that class as you get more AP. You'll also get 5 Magic Slots, which are explained two paragraphs down.

If you like, however, you can choose TWO starter classes. You’ll also get 100 AP, but you will only be allowed to master half of each class’s abilities, which you get to choose. If you do, please mention one of your classes as your "Primary" Class; so that we'll know which Member Group to give you. You'll also get 5 Magic Slots, which is explained in the next paragraph down.

Finally, you can choose to have NO class, in which case you put in “Custom” here. Custom characters still get 100 AP, and they also get 7 "Magic Slots". A Magic Slot can get you a magical ability, OR an enchanted/machina item, weapon, or armour. Characters who chose one or two classes will get 5 Magic Slots. This should go without saying, but you can’t learn class abilities from a class that you do not have.

Please note, if you make a Leader (Requiring 100 Posts) or a Lieutenant (Requiring 75 Posts), then you get a bonus of 350 AP (Lead) or 250 AP (Lieu). Be sure to check the Faction Lists to see which positions are open if you qualify!

Describe your character’s personality. A couple of paragraphs will do, addressing the character’s positive and negative personality traits. If you like, you can simply list the character’s personality traits, instead of or in addition to the written summary. Whichever you prefer.

You may use a picture if you wish but we do require you to write out at least two paragraphs describing your character’s appearance, and/or fill out the following form:

Build: Describe your character’s physical build. You don’t need to go into detail, just a couple words will suffice (e.g. athletic, muscular, overweight, et cetera)

You may have up to five weapons, but if they are magical they will cost one Magic Slot. If the weapon is magical just put on a tag like [Magical].

You may have up to five pieces of armour, but if they are magical they will cost one Magic Slot. If the armour is magical just put on a tag like [Magical].

Please note that armor has to be one of two things; durable and heavy, or thin and light. The only way to override the Heavy/Durable or Light/Thin choice is to make the armor magical and/or have the armor made of one of the special materials you can buy.

Items[/size][/b]
You may have up to five items, but if they are magical they will cost one Magic Slot. If the item is magical just put on a tag like [Magical].

Class Abilities[/size][/b]
Put any class abilities you wish to purchase at the start here. After your character is accepted, the admins will edit any class abilities you purchase into your profile. Class abilities cost AP, not Magical Slots. If you chose a Custom Class, you can not get Class abilities.

Custom Abilities[/size][/b]
Put your custom abilities here. As long as they aren’t ridiculously overpowered or approaching on godmodding, we’ll allow just about anything for an ability, so have fun with it~! Just be sure its nothing "too fast to dodge" nor "powerful enough to kill/knockout in one hit", as that's just unfair. Custom abilities cost Magical Slots, not AP.

Describe your character’s history, 100 words minimum. 100 words really isn’t a lot, basically just a couple of paragraphs, so don’t stress out too much when trying to write your character’s history.
