Personality
Dedicated to protecting Non Serviam, Cloud has become somewhat sombre in his manner, which some suspect is naturally fairly warm, embittered as he was from years of fighting. His loyalty to Non Serviam, and to Yuna, has been proven time and time again, never faltering in upholding the beliefs he holds so dear.
However, he has a second side to him, more apparent than his loyalty. Prone to bouts of mood swings, very quickly affected by events that affect him deeply, he is moody, verging on brooding. His temperament often means that when he fails, or that anything happens that is wrong, he takes it hard upon himself.
His natural caring personality however has made him able to confront this major flaw in his personality, meaning he is able to better act for the benefit and protection of Non Serviam, standing as one of the most steadfast defenders of the faction.
Appearance
Height: 5’8”
Weight: 160lbs
Build: Medium, but with hidden powerful musculature
Skin Colour: Pale Caucasian
Hair Style: Spiked
Hair Colour: Blonde
Eye Colour: Blue, but glow faintly
Clothing: Cloud typically wears a high-collared sleevless indigo shirt, with a single pauldron over his left shoulder. He has a pair of straps which hold his holsters for his Fusion Swords, as well as providing a measure of protection against slashing blows, held in place with the Fenrir Badge. He wears a simple pair of black pants and a pair of black combat boots.
Weapons
The Fusion Swords (MAGICAL): The Fusion swords are composed of six separate swords that assemble into one large sword. The fusion swords in their various states of combination serve as Cloud's primary weapon. Barring the First Sword, the individual swords are not named, but they otherwise can be distinguished by their distinctive appearances and functions. The fusion sword consists of one main blade, the First Sword, one hollow blade that serves as the front edge, two identical (but asymmetrically opposite) blades that form the back, and two identical (also asymmetrically opposite) smaller blades that attach to the sides.
The blades also possess the property of striking with the element of thunder. This blade deals an additional quarter of its damage as a touch Thunder spell.
Armour
Cloud wears very little armour, relying primarily on his skill with the Fusion Swords to defend himself. A single pauldron is draped over his left shoulder, giving his off (left) arm better protection, but other than this, he is unarmoured.
Mythril Full-Plate: An intricate suit of well fitted plate armour, a mark of Cloud's ascension to Knight-Marshal. He typically only wears this when on the field of open war, preferring at almost every other opputunity to have freedom of movement. Comes complete with a high crested helmet, the crest being laden with teal dyed plumage of Chocobo feathers. The armour however is of simple adornment, bearing no filligree, being functional, yet elegant.
Items
Badge of Fenrir: While entirely visual, without even the slightest hint of magic, Cloud wears this Badge, which holds the straps across his chest in place, as if it were an artefact of limitless power. He rarely parts with it, and as such, he has become associated with it’s namesake.

Class Abilities
Jump: A two-part ability. After using, the user is invulnerable to short-range physical attacks during the opponent’s next post, thanks to the user being airborne. On the first post the user makes after using Jump, they fly down upon their enemy, attacking them with their weapon. [Cooldown: 1 post] AP Cost: 40 AP
Lancet: The user absorbs a small bit of the target’s energy, weakening the target and healing themselves by a tiny amount. Some people say that this ability has a hidden power, but not many people know it. [Cooldown: 1 post] AP Cost: 30 AP
Silence Attack: Strikes at the opponent and usually inflicts Silence on them. [Cooldown: 2 posts] AP Cost: 40 AP
Sleep Attack: Strikes at the opponent and usually inflicts Sleep on them. [Cooldown: 2 posts] AP Cost: 40 AP
Dark Attack: Strikes at the opponent and usually inflicts Darkness on them. [Cooldown: 2 posts] AP Cost: 40 AP
Dragon Claw: An extremely powerful attack that strikes at the target, inflicting heavy damage as well as Darkness, Silence, and Sleep unless the target is immune. (Requires Dark Attack, Silence Attack, and Sleep Attack) [Cooldown: 5 posts] AP Cost: 75 AP
Thrust Kick: The user kicks at the foe dealing heavy damage, sending them flying with the force of the kick. In the case of light, minor NPC foes, it can sometimes send them so far that they are essentially “ejected” from the battle. [Cooldown: 2 posts] AP Cost: 45 AP
Quake: Cause a roughly 50-foot-diameter area around the target to shake and rupture, unbalancing and damaging enemies. [Cooldown: 2 posts] AP Cost: 45 AP
Mighty Guard: Casts Protect and Shell on the party. (Requires Quake) [Cooldown: 4 posts] AP Cost: 50 AP
Dragon Rage: Summoning up the power of dragons, the user gains the Berserk, Haste, Protect, and Reflect effects. (Requires Dragon Claw and Lancet) [Cooldown: 5 posts] AP Cost: 75 AP
Custom Abilities
Inner Focus: Focussing his bodily reserves, Cloud can replicate the effects of the spell Regen, as his body strives to reverse earlier damage. This may only be cast on himself. (4 post cooldown)
Stunning Strike: Swinging with an overhead arc, the Fusion Blades crackle with energy, which makes the targets movements erratic and slower. This has the effect of inflicting Slow upon the target, but electrical immunity negates this, resistance reduces the Slow duration to 1 post. Normal Slow immunities do not apply, as this is less of a magical, more of a reflexive effect. (4 post cooldown)
Energy Wave: Cloud strikes and unleashes a wave of energy at a single enemy dealing 4 times normal damage, and hits other enemies for normal damage with shockwaves. Damage is dealt as Thunder damage, which normal resistances affect. (4 post cooldown)
Omni-strike: Seperating the Fusion Blade, Cloud strikes the target 5 times, each strike dealing double damage, then finishing with a final strike, dealing quadruple damage. Requires a fully formed Fusion Blade. (10 post cooldown)

History
Cloud was different from the other children.
He’d known it from the first time he’d ever played with them. He was faster. Stronger. He didn’t fit in. He was an outcast, thrown out in a way only children could throw. Cloud only ever had one friend as a child. His next door neighbour, Tifa Lockheart. He was very much different to her, but perhaps that was what made him like her so much. Where he was insular, she was outgoing, where he was stubborn, she was open.
Cloud led a life of solitude, hearing of the exploits of heroes, and the plight of nations. He was brought up under strict tutelage. He had lost his parents at the age of 3, and was in the care of one of the veterans of the old Yavon military. From the age of 5, Cloud learned how to fight. How to wield a blade. In more ways than one was Cloud different from the other children. Cloud never had a real childhood. He was brought up a man.
Nothing much changed until the arrival of Sin. His life, while revolved around combat, had never truly been directed so convincingly. An evil so terrible, the entirety of Spira had trembled in fear. But, as he witnessed, even such terrible evil could be defeated. From the defeat of Sin, 12 years ago, Cloud has been working towards combating such evil.
8 years ago, his life became intertwined much more with the defence of Spira than ever before. Joining with the Crusaders, Cloud began learning from some of the greatest masters of combat in the world. At just 16, he was declared a fully fledged Dragoon, noted for his ‘exceptional physical abilities’ and being a ‘student of the highest calibre’, fighting alongside some of the veterans of the bitter fighting that Sin had incited. His travels with such mighty heroes brought him to a place thought forgotten since before the time of Human dominance.
Within the sacred halls of this trove of thought-lost knowledge, he and his fellow Crusaders fought against yet more remnants of Sin’s cataclysmic fight against Spira. Many fell that day, fighting back to back, dying with their comrades in arms. Cloud was one of the survivors. Meandering their way through the labyrinthine ways of this forgotten realm, they came across a chamber. Of this chamber, Cloud will not speak, but it is known that of the 5 who ventured in, only one remained, carrying the Fusion Swords. Lost relics from a time when such artefacts were commonplace amongst the adventurer.
It took 2 more years for Cloud to venture out again. The loss of so many brethren, men he had trained with, men he had barely known, yet accepted with open arms. Dead. Gone forever, to but the remnants of Sin. A deep, festering hatred for Sin grew in Cloud’s heart. He became sombre, all semblance of what little humour he had left vanishing from his face. His cold manner, and his deadly efficiency set him out as a tortured champion. The lone survivor. A consummate fighter, a Dragoon of highest quality. All this eventually led to him being taken in by Non Serviam, shortly after leaving the Crusaders, tormented as he was by the regular 'hero worship'. Always there, fighting against Sin’s minions, even as Yuna battled him directly. Non Serviam declared Cloud as being an ‘outstanding fighter, a man all humans could look up to’, his fighting abilities backed up by his dedication and unswerving loyalty to Non Serviam. No task assigned to him was left unfinished. No foe was too mighty. No obstacle to challenging.
With the defeat of Sin, and being re-united with Tifa, following her joining Non Serviam, his moods have been somewhat tempered, her presence giving him a stability he has not felt in a long time. He has begun to regain some of his good humour, and no longer holds such a bitterness for his failures. With the resurgence of Sin looming, Cloud looks to his weaponry once more, his purpose is clear, and now, more than ever, his resolve is unyielding.. The war was not through with him yet...
