Appearance[/size][/b]
Aure, when in armored, maintains a very dragon-like image. The helmet is much like the upper jaw of a dragon, with a membrane that covers the eyes and protects them. It looks like he has long blonde hair, but in fact that is attached to the helmet, a rare mane from a dragon. The armor itself is webbed and spined, with loose scales over the mid-section to allow movement. The entire suit is navy, and stained so that it was dull instead of shiny.
Outside of armor it’s a different story. He wears a leather overcoat that falls to his shins, leather boots, a cotton tunic and cotton pants. There is a red sash around his waist acting as a belt, alongside an actual belt that serves only the purpose of holding up Nitael’Tazier. His features are chiseled and handsome, his blond hair short cropped.
Weapons[/size][/b]
Sword – Nitael’Tazier, a vicious weapon with a red blade and intricately designed cross guard and hilt. The weapon itself is sentient, self-conscious and has its own personality. This weapon is not evil, but rather very chaotic. It has within it a very deep and relentless bloodlust. It can communicate with whoever holds it through telepathy, and even take control of weak-willed individuals if they don’t constantly have their guard up. Alongside the consciousness the weapon also has an ability, being able to absorb up to -ra level magical attacks it successfully blocks and store the energy away. At a later time it can then release the energy in a sort of explosion. The more energy it absorbs the more energy it can release. [Magical]
Dirk – A dagger that has become a very lethal short range weapon. The blade has a constant electric charge running through it that jumps into anything that touches the blade. This electric charge will then run through the object or person it touches, stiffening their reflexes and slowing them down for one post. If the dagger contact is maintained it can cause more long term effects such as paralysis or even hold the possibility of becoming fatal after six or more posts. The sheath is magically imbued so that it doesn’t carry the charge. [Magical]
Polearm – Aure’s primary weapon. A double ended polearm weapon, one side forked with two prongs while the other side has a blade with many notches. Both sides are extremely deadly, as is its special ability. When twirled around above his head it can summon up a massive blizzard that negates most magical effects, as well as reduces visibility, provides high winds and freezing temperatures. To counter his own ability, Kain is immune to the cold temperatures created and the magical negation effect. [Magical]
Armour[/size][/b]
Dragon-scale Armor: armor that is stronger than mythril, made out of refined dragon-scales. When armored he is given the distinct image of a dragon. While in the armor he is given enhanced strength and agility, able to jump much higher than normal. A dragon’s immunity to fire is also carried over to the armor. It is designed with many spines, a dragon’s head image for a helmet with rare dragon mane coming from the back. [Magical]

He does not carry any items of significance on his person. Should he be going out of town, a.k.a. away from his mansion, he’d bring the necessities for survival, such as water, rations, et cetera, but he doesn’t carry those constantly.

Dragon Claw: An extremely powerful attack that strikes at the target, inflicting heavy damage as well as Darkness, Silence, and Sleep unless the target is immune. (Requires Dark Attack, Silence Attack, and Sleep Attack) [Cooldown: 5 posts] AP Cost: 75 AP
Custom Abilities[/size][/b]
Dragon Form: this is Aure’s only innate ability, and also his strongest. It allows him to, essentially, turn into a dragon. He can maintain this form for a maximum of five posts, once per thread. Immediately afterward, for one post, he is rendered mostly helpless, only able to defend himself. In this form his strength and defense become much higher, he has great massive wings and steely scales, as well as a wicked spiked tail and claws.
-Dragon’s Breath: once per post, with a two post cool down, while in dragon form, Aure is able to exhale a superheated breath that ignites the air in front of him, causing a stream of fire. Because he deals with such wicked heat coming from his mouth he is also immune to fire to prevent himself from burning. This breath has the ability to instantly melt rock and steel, and ignite things within five feet of the fire.

History[/size][/b]
Aure was born to an aristocratic family in Bevelle, well off and in a position of power. He was home-schooled before he was four, and sent off to train as a dragoon when he was only nine. His family had a very militaristic background and so it was tradition for the men to become Crusaders and serve their military time. Aure was not one to break tradition. He learned from the best his abilities and, through his family’s influence, obtained many powerful items to which he became very in tune with.
After training he immediately went off to serve his military time. In the course of a few years he quickly rose through the ranks, becoming captain of his own squadron. However he grew tired of this life, moving about Spira, and so he retired very early from the position to live with his family and learn about their own economical pursuits, through investing and businesses. Yet he never let himself get rusty, donning his armor and wielding his weapons in training every day.
