Personality
Her most notable trait is her stubborn streak. Kairi is hardly one to do something anyone tells her. She does what she thinks is right, and will not stop until she has completed her task. With this stubborn streak comes her admirable courage. Her bravery is unmatched, and she is willing to face any obstacle in front of her without showing any signs of fear. She is loyal to a fault to her friends, and to her faction, willing to do anything for the well-being of both of them. Her stubborn streak makes Kairi rather head-strong at times, charging into situations without thinking them out. She can be annoyed and angered easily at those who try to stand in her way, and she can hold a grudge for quite a long time. Her persona can come off as cold and distant to many that first meet her, but she is also compassionate and kind when others take the time to get to know her.
Kairi is one who does not take kindly to malice. She can become a harsh and unforgiving person within a moment if someone threatens what she holds dear. She is not one to stand idly by and watch another harm someone in front of her. Kairi is a protective person by nature, and she gets involved in things that do not concern her at times. She is a very proud young woman, who holds her head high in any situation, and does not back down to anyone. Her pride can be a hindrance at times, though, as it can be a straining point in her relationships. Kairi finds it hard to apologize to others, but she will try and make amends.
Kairi is a very passionate woman. When a situation presents herself, she throws her whole being into trying to find a solution. When someone is hurt or something of the like, Kairi will do her best to comfort them, even if she has had little experience in doing so. Her loyalty makes her a valuable friend to any, because Kairi is someone who will defend someone with her dying breath. A woman of honor and honest integrity she is.

Weapons
Paopu Doll: A simple star-shaped doll that Kairi uses as a conduit for her black magic spells. It is not needed to actually perform her spells, but it allows her to focus the directions of her spells better. When used, the doll glows brightly and floats in midair in front of her, before the spell is suddenly cast upon her opponent. Also able to be used as a long ranged weapon, the star-shaped doll simply flies toward her opponent with razor tipped edge, able to cut very badly if hit. Returns to Kairi after use.
Oblivion: An odd key-shaped weapon that belies a great power within the different design. Foreboding and dark in appearance, many can simply feel the darkness exuding from the blade. Representing her darker half, and the darkness that consumed her very being when her sister died.
Darkness: The element imbued in this weapon can be unleashed in a wave of shadowing darkness. As an added strength, Kairi is also able to launch the blade itself in this wave of dark, which can make it hard to duck at times. Weakened by the element of light, and can be absorbed by those that are immune to darkness. While this attack can be blocked or dodged at the right moment, the weapon itself cannot be deterred back from Kairi, as her Oathkeeper will attract Oblivion back to her hand. The polarity between light and darkness acts as a magnet for her weapons.
Cooldown: Two posts.
[Used as Xion.]
Oathkeeper: A weapon that belonged to Kairi from the beginning, given to her by Nami as a gift from finally becoming a Summoner. Named for the promise that Nami had made to always protect Kairi as her Guardian and sister. Imbued with the element of light, this blade is Kairi's main weapon of choice, and one she keeps close to her heart. The design is much brighter and elegant than that of Oblivion, the opposite of this weapon.
Light of Oath: Containing light within it, the element is utilized in a blast that the blade releases when Kairi wishes. The same as Oblivion, the Oathkeeper can also be launched at her opponent in the midst of this energy wave, adding nice surprise to those not paying attention to the attack~! The weapon itself returns to her grip when Kairi uses Oblivion to attract it back.
Cooldown: Two posts.

Custom Abilities
Dark Portal: Utilizing her own halved nature of both darkness and light, Kairi can transport herself to any place within Spira by creating a strange door of darkness that only Kairi can use, unless she is bringing a person with her for the ride. A strange way to travel, but too much use of it drains her of energy quickly. It cannot be used within battle, either.
Valor Form: The ultimate form Kairi has, which she is able to utilize both her abilities of darkness and light, and dual wield her keyblades at the same time. In this form her strength and defense are doubled, along with her speed. The downside to this form is that Kairi can only use half of her class abilities, and her magical defense is halved. While Kairi is definitely more formidable and stronger in this form, she also seems to fall into a berserk type of status, attacking relentlessly until her opponent has fallen, or until she is defeated.
Bersek Status: Upon entering this form, Kairi has a berserk status set upon her, and while she becomes stronger, she is relentless in her attacks. This status lasts the duration of this form, and cannot be cured or dispelled from her.
Lasts: Five posts.
Cooldown: Five posts. [Once per thread usually.]
Transform: Her own unique ability that allows Kairi to change herself from her true form into that of her disguise. Based upon the appearance of her deceased sister, her hair, and general physical traits are changed. Kairi becomes Xion, and that is all she is. Her persona changes along with this appearance, and Kairi generally becomes Xion to escape her past for a little while, and to escape authority figures for her attacks against Yevon.

History
Kairi was born within the heart of Bevelle. Raised as a little girl to learn and worship the preachings of Yevon, for that was the law of Spira. What everyone had believed for over a thousand years. Her parents were within the inner circle of Yevon, her mother being a Priestess, and her father ranking as a Summoner of great talent. It was with his abilities that she first idolized about becoming a Summoner. Growing up, she would often play with her older sister, Nami, within the winding streets of Bevelle. Playing innocent games, and pretending to battle fiends and imaginary monsters. How little both little girls knew of what real life was like. Taught from such a young age, Kairi learned of Sin, and how brave Summoners and Guardians traveled all across Spira to bring about the Calm to Spira, becoming heroes, and remembered forever.
How she dreamed of such a future.
As she grew, Kairi and Nami were inseparable, no one finding one sister without the other. With her sweet smile and energetic persona, Kairi was always the well-liked girl. Nami was so quiet and brooding, only opening up to her sister. It was when she was merely thirteen-years-old that the girls would learn that their father had finally started out upon his journey, with their mother as his guardian. Both girls were left within the care of the Temple of Bevelle. It was then that Kairi finally proclaimed her wish to become a High Summoner, and to bring peace to Spira. Much to the protests of her sister, who seemed to know the outcome of what would happen. Those that became High Summoners died, and even if she had succeeded, the Calm would not last forever. Nami's protests fell upon deaf ears, and soon Kairi was whisked away by the proud Priests to begin her training as a Summoner.
Two years passed.
Her father and mother had failed, dying before they could even finish their pilgrimage. Ambushed upon the snowy peaks of Gagazet, fiends did away with the two brave souls. Upon receiving the news, both Nami and Kairi had been anguished and sorrowed. Once more, her sister pleaded with Kairi to change her path, to live her life free from such a curse. Why sacrifice herself for everyone, when Sin would only come back again? Kairi ignored her wishes, as she had completed her training to become a Summoner. Nami, knowing she could no longer keep her sister from her chosen path, decided to become her Guardian. At least this way she could protect Kairi from the dangers the roads would face for her. As a gift for completing her long training, Nami has a special blade forged for her sister, as a physical representation of her own oath, and that she would keep it. To always protect and care for her younger sister.
Kairi completed her true test, when she finally emerged from the Chamber of Fayth, weary and tired. She was happy, though, for she had obtained Bahamut, the Aeon of her own city. Cheered on upon her fellow Yevonites, Nami and Kairi soon set off onto their own journey. Nami with her Oblivion blade, and Kairi with her own Oathkeeper, and her Paopu Doll for all those Black Mage spells~! Side-by-side, Kairi and Nami journeyed across the vast land of Spira, slowly obtaining each Aeon one by one. Valefor, Ifrit, Ixion, Shiva, and the Final Aeon, which she would acquire when she had made it to Zanarkand. Nami slowly began to learn of secrets that Yevon had kept to themselves, that Sin was never-ending and eternal, and that it could not end by the Final Summoning alone. Once more, her pleads fell upon deaf ears.
Kairi had almost accomplished her journey.
As they soon made their way down the peak of the Holy Mountain Gagazet, nearing Zanarkand after so very long. A sense of foreboding washed upon Kairi, wondering if this would perhaps be her last few hours of life. It did not matter, for she knew she wanted to save Spira. To bring the Calm, and to complete her own pilgrimage. As they reached the remnants that was once the Temple of Zanarkand, they ventured within the dome with caution. Nami suddenly knew that this would be her last hour, and on the two climbed. Kairi remained resolute, determined to see her journey through until the end, no matter the cost to her. How naive she still was to the world in that moment. Before they could reach the final destination, where the Lady Yunalesca surely waited, not that they knew any better. With the Cloister of Trials completed, the Spectral Keeper soon greeted the two weary girls.
Nami and Kairi fought the fiend with every ounce of energy. As a last result, Kairi summoned Bahamut, her first Aeon, hoping and praying in the name of Yevon that she and her sister would succeed. Standing upon her platform, she did not realize the danger that would soon occur to her. Nami knew, and with her last remaining energy, teleported to where Kairi stood, throwing her to the side, as the Spectral Keeper pierced the young woman with a clawed hand, before she could even think to defend herself. Kairi watched with an anguished horror as her sister choked upon her own blood, thrown to the side like a helpless doll. Without thought, she had Bahamut use his Overdrive Megaflare to defeat the fiend. Appearing once more upon the top of the ruined temple, Kairi abandoned her Aeon, racing to her dying sister.
Covered in blood.
Screaming and wailing, Kairi gathered her weak sister into her arms. Nami had merely smiled at the anguished girl, lifting her pale hand, and placing it upon her cheek. "I plan to be there right by your side, Kairi," she whispered weakly. Blood spilled from her mouth, and the younger sister stared at her dying sister helplessly. Watching this despair was Yunalesca, so close to their goal, but they had failed. Tears streamed down Kairi's cheeks, and with anguish, she watched as Nami passed away peacefully with a smile on her face. In her arms, the pyreflies rose, and her body disappeared from within her grasp, and she screamed once more. Left with only her dying memory, and Oblivion, she noticed the Unsent standing before her.
"Do not despair, for it is your hope and courage that allows for the Final Summoning to be. Spira thanks you, sweet Summoner."
Kairi learned right then what her sister had known all along. That they would have both died in that instant. To bring peace to Spira, her life was needed--and that of her sister. Enraged with her own despair, the broken Summoner left the scene of her sister's death, knowing that Yevon held only lies. At fifteen, she had lost all meaning to her life, and she held revenge within her burdened heart. Returning to Bevelle with only her shattered views and heart, Kairi looked upon her home with a disgust and revulsion. It was then that she attacked the guards, in her grief and rage. Killing the guards with her Aeons, Kairi then realized what she had done, and that she was no longer Kairi anymore. She was broken and dead on the inside. Knowing of the secrets Yevon held, she ran away.
Three years have passed, and the Eternal Calm has come.
Kairi is no longer Kairi, but she is Xion. With the memory of her deceased sister, she had become another person. With Oblivion and Oathkeeper in her grasp, she has become an under miner of Yevon. Speaking of the lies of Bevelle, and attacking those that would seek to imprison her as a traitor. No longer herself, Kairi has forsaken her Summoner ways, left to the bloodied past where it should be. None know who she is, and she prefers it that way.
'So stay in the memory, so I can start to begin again.'
