Personality
Cold and distant, calculating and disturbed, Azler is a true threat. Seemingly dead on his feet, this warrior is eerily calm and doesn’t flinch even at the shot of a gun in his direction. He seems only to really care about a few individuals at all, not even willing to kill those he deems unworthy. He will occasionally interact with others, but this is typically only when he has an ulterior motive.
When he does talk, he is courteous and shows intellect and grace in his words, though they are rarely emotional. Wilder is not a fan of idle conversation, as he often has higher goals in mind, and tries to avoid those he feels are pointless. He believes that words are worthless, even though they must be conveyed for people to understand one another, and thus he will rarely waste words on those who do not interest him. Those of whom gain his trust and respect will occasionally be able to get a small conversation out of him, but the young man is obviously a scorned individual and has given up on most relationships before they even form.
When a threat upon him is made, the Warrior will play with his opponent for a while, simply to prove his might, before leaving them alone. The only time Azler truly goes full out is when an opponent earns his respect, a rare feat to say the least.

Weight: 157 lbs.
Build: Athletic, agile and lithe, yet powerful.
Skin Color: Light Tan.
Hair Color: Pearl White.
Hair Style: Medium length, spiked and slicked back.

Weapons
[Magical] Dusk and Dawn: Twin blades that represent Ying and Yang, they are made from Adamantite, making them incredibly strong, sharp, and light-weight. They have been imbued with magic that allows them to grow in size and strength through the phrase “Eclipse Shine”, making the pair take on wing-like appearances and giving them jagged, serrated, edges, allowing for easier cutting and more gruesome wounds. In these forms, Dusk, the black sword, is able to inflict Darkness and Dawn, the white blade, can deal Silence, though they can only do this upon impact against an enemy‘s bare flesh. Their last magical ability allows them to materialize within Azler’s hands any time he calls upon them and to return to his palms should he ever release his grip on them.
Armour
[Magical] Phoenix Robe: The coat that drapes over Azler’s shoulders is gifted with high magical resistance, allowing him to take Medium-level magic attacks with virtually no problem, though against master mages it only provides him with decent protection.
[Magical] Dragon Suit: The outfit that covers Wilder’s form is empowered with physical amplifiers, allowing him to move faster and strike harder than a normal Human could.
Items
[Magical] Sacred Ring: A passive ability that gives Wilder constant Protect and Shell effects.
[Magical] Seal of Solomon: A passive ability that not only prevents the Warrior from receiving any Negative nor Neutral status effects, but also prevents the removal of any positive status effects.

History
A Child whose first memory was of running along the ruins of Zanarkand chasing the pyreflies, he was found on an expedition to the broken land by a team of Warrior Monks deployed by Yevon to find out more about the strange city. When the boy was taken away from the land to discover more about him, it was quickly learned that a strange phenomenon seemed drawn to the child, as whenever he remained in a specific area for a prolonged period of time, pyreflies began to quickly gather themselves to him. Experiments were conducted upon the boy, and while it was quickly learned that he was not simply an Unsent, why the mystic lights are drawn to him has yet to be uncovered.
As time went by, seeing an opportunity to get some use out of the seemingly abandoned child, Yevon proclaimed him a divine child and began to teach him the way of Yu Yevon, taking him to the various Temples and showing him their way of life.
The boy was happy and peaceful, as any child would be, and he slowly began to accept Yevon‘s ways as he traveled the world, but it seems the fates did not intend for the child to lead a virtuous life. Upon visiting Bevelle and the Aeon Bahamut‘s Fayth, the pyreflies that had normally simply followed the child around quickly started to form Fiends, as if they were retaliating against his being there.
Within a year, the child had been proclaimed a plague due to several repeats of the incident across the world, and was sent back to train with the Crusaders, Yevon ceasing to have anything more to do with the child.
With their plans to gain Yevon’s trust and seeing no other use for him, the guardians began training him to become a Warrior, enrolling him in all aspects of their combat training. As time rolled by and years moved on, the boy was quickly honed into a great fighter as it was soon discovered that when he concentrated hard enough, he could actually pull pyreflies into his body and energize himself, giving him a far greater capabilities than an average Human.
The expectations that came were easily met by the strange child, now in his teens, as his prowess with a sword was easily proven as he began to utilize powerful magical blades in his fighting style. His magic abilities were regarded as stronger as well, but for whatever reason, the boy disliked using them on a whole and instead focused on them only as a tactical resource.
Still followed by the pyreflies, which had mysteriously ceased in their monster-creations, and with his obvious Al Bhed origins, the young man was quickly seen as an outcast by the rest of Yevon and left alone, often not even being allowed within the Temples, resulting in many confused feelings forming deep in the young man‘s heart.
Time moved forever on, and as it did, the man’s heart was presented with many different situations, but from one day to the next, he was slowly learning how the world worked, or so he thought. When alone with others, they separated themselves, fearing or hating him for his past and/or his pyrefly companions, but when training, he excelled and was praised by the Crusaders. When by himself, he never felt lonely thanks to the swirling lights that followed him, yet when around other people, he couldn’t describe the hole he felt in his chest.
And yet, all of this was mixed and confused further by the one area of his life that made sense above all else; combat.
Thanks to the many years he spent training, the man was a force to be reckoned with in a fight, his physical, swordsmanship, and technological prowess giving him an advantage against others in a one on one fight, and while he preferred to not use his magical capabilities, he was still above average with it. In the battlefield, he was relied on, he was accomplished, he was accepted by everyone.
Due to this, he spent almost all of his time preparing, even fashioning himself a set of weapons and armor to don when the situation called for either, and unfortunately, though the man didn’t perceive this himself, his social status began to dwindle even further. He was soon seen as a brute, an unthinking beast outside of battle, bloodthirsty and war driven, and even though he simply stayed quiet around others, unspeaking, his silence said more than he could dream.
In the end, it did pay off, as at age 18 the talented and cursed child managed to join the Warrior Monks. The boy rejoiced and was happy beyond belief, yet when no one shared in his victory, he couldn’t reason why not, and forever it remained a bittersweet memory, tainting yet another part of his life.
Years since then, he has worked for Yevon and gone on every mission he can, even those assigned to the Chocobo Knights or Crusaders, and while he has become revered for his capabilities, he still has yet to overcome the cruel rumors around him.
After Sin’s defeat and Yevon’s fall from grace, the Warrior has remained in their employ even as hundreds have deserted them, for though they betrayed him, he knows no other life, and thus he carries on, fighting if only to protect those who fear and hate him…
